In the second quarter of 2021, the fish games category saw some interesting trends across the top five apps in Oceania. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps exhibited varying patterns in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Fishdom from Playrix maintained a strong presence with weekly revenue fluctuating around $140K to $167K. The app's downloads peaked in mid-April with approximately 14.9K, then saw a decrease, ending June with a resurgence to 12.9K. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 110K and 126K throughout the quarter.

Hungry Shark World by Ubisoft Entertainment experienced a steady revenue stream, peaking at $4.2K in mid-April before a slight decline towards the end of the quarter. Downloads remained consistent, averaging around 3.5K per week, while active users showed a slight downward trend, starting at 27.4K and ending at 25.7K.

Hungry Shark Evolution also from Ubisoft, saw a notable spike in revenue to $5.5K in April, followed by a decline, closing the quarter at $4.3K. Downloads showed a similar pattern, with a peak of 10.8K in mid-April. Active users started strong at 60.6K, then settled around 44K by the end of June.

Undersea Solitaire Tripeaks, published by Plarium Global Ltd, had modest yet consistent revenue, peaking at $2.2K in late June. Downloads increased gradually, reaching a high of 325 in the final week of the quarter. Active users followed an upward trajectory, growing from 669 to over 1K.

Lastly, Merge Mermaids-magic puzzles by GAMEGZZ LIMITED, saw revenue peak at $1.2K in late April and then stabilize around $700. Downloads improved over the quarter, culminating in 439 by the end of June. Active users increased steadily, starting at 193 and finishing at 605.
